Help the environment by sourcing 100% sustainable seafood stock

Silverfin's product source is an invasive fish species with an incredibly high reproduction rate allowing sustainable harvest for many years to come.

Provide a unique seafood product on institutional food service menus to ensure variety

Silverfin Fish Cakes are made from Asian Carp which is a fish species not currently on institutional food menus.

Implement Control Measures to Ensure Sustainabilty

Silverfin only harvests fish that are over 10 lbs to ensure sustainability for many future generations

Meet Applicable Eco-Standards

Silverfin uses eco-friendly fishing techniques approved by U.S. Wildlife and Fisheries and removes an invasive species from aquatic eco-systems. NOAA and the U.S. Department of the Interior are supporters of the Silverfin "Eat the Problem!" campaign.

Set Up Sustainable Aquaculture

Silverfin only uses a wild-caught , fresh water, invasive fish species for our food product and has techniques and measures in place to ensure sustainability.

Provide a Product Made From Seafood on the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch List

Asian Carp, the source of Silverfin Fish Cakes, was added to the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch list in September, 2019.
